Electrical | City & Guilds Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) | Level 2 (part time)
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is designed for new entrants to the industry, providing you with the basic skills and experience you need to progress onto further training (Level 3) within electro technology.
You will gain experience by working in our workshops that simulate the workplace.
This is an evening class taught at our East Campus in Brighton.
FURTHER INFORMATION
English and Maths GCSE grade 9-1 (A*-G) or equivalent. An interview isrequired.
After Level 2, you can progress to Level 3, either full-time or as an apprentice.
Future careers include:
- Electrician
- Electrical engineer
- Industrial installer
- Project manager
- Self employment
You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.
