Graphic Design | Introduction
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course covers the building blocks of graphic design including typography, layout, composition, colour, shape, line, image and illustration.
In a friendly and supportive environment that attracts all ages, backgrounds and abilities, you will explore and learn how to combine the fundamental design elements.
The course will take place through a mix of interactive group work, practical step by step tutorials and design projects.
this course runs on Wednesdays 6.00- 9.00pm

You must be 19 or older to apply for this course
you may wish to progress to Intermediate Graphic Design in the spring term. This course will give you a good grounding to go and work in graphic design.

You will be assessed throughout your course via practical activity observations, academic coursework and industry placements. Assessments are based around ‘real-life’ projects and industry or workplace scenarios including work experience. Your final grade will be awarded as pass, merit or distinction.
