Didn’t get your application in by the UCAS January deadline? Don’t stress, you can still apply!

If you already have a UCAS application with five choices, but you were not offered a place or you declined all your offers, you can apply to us through UCAS Extra, which is open until 4 July.

  • If you apply directly, you are guaranteed an interview for a university-level course.  
  • A one-off bursary of £250 to go towards your study costs* (please note: you must still be enrolled as a student on 31 January during your first year of study to receive the bursary) 
  • No application fees if we are your only choice of institution 
  • Dedicated support with your application upon request, including support to complete applications for Disabled Student Allowance and Student Finance Tuition Fee and Maintenance Loans

Clearing is open – Apply now for September

No need to wait until results day to grow your future at Brighton MET.

The UCAS deadline may have passed but it’s not too late to apply direct or through clearing for September 2024 entry.

Clearing is open from July until October, offering you the opportunity to secure a place on a university-level course.

Places at Brighton MET are available now through clearing.

Our Access to Higher Education (HE) courses are designed to inspire passion in your subject, build your confidence and put you at ease with achieving university-level standards.

Access to HE courses are accepted by UK universities and are an ideal route to university for 19+ students who do not have A-levels or Level 3 qualifications in relevant subjects.

HNC in Healthcare

If you are aiming for a career in care or the NHS, our HNC in Healthcare could be for you.

Taught by expert tutors and with strong links to the industry this is an ideal stepping stone to further study or the healthcare sector.

Art & Design Foundation

Our art foundation course is suitable for post A-Level study or following completion of a Level 3 Extended Diploma. This course will help you to hone your artistic craft and develop your style ready for progression to university.

Our Access to Higher Education courses prepare you for university and degree-level study.

We offer Access courses at our Brighton Central Campus and our focus is to encourage you to adopt the necessary academic skills to prepare you for the journey ahead. many courses are funded by a loan and you don’t need to pay it back in some circumstances!
